Our COVID-19 Response

To Our Valued Guests,

For nearly 20 years we have worked tirelessly to provide you with a clean, friendly, and memorable stay. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, those efforts now include strong new actions to meet the needs of the public health concern. Our team here has the full support of the Super 8 brand, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and guidance from New York State, the Federal Government, and CDC. Our new measures include the following.

“0 Touch” Check-In. We are offering our guests a check-in experience that follows CDC social distancing guidelines and the ability to have “0 touch” with high touch point areas. No need to sign anything, just swipe your card and collect your keys!

Guest Rooms. In addition to our traditional cleaning procedures for each guest room, we have now incorporated a follow up disinfectant procedure for each room. You can rest assured that high touch point areas in your room were disinfected with a Clorox bleach or hydrogen peroxide product prior to your arrival. These areas include, but are not limited to, light switches, handles, coffee makers, refrigerators, lamps, phone handles and consoles, table surfaces, remote controls, curtain sheers and pull cords, carpets, and toilet and faucets.

Additional Sanitation. High touch point areas in common areas like seating, door handles, table surfaces, and recreation areas are routinely being sanitized with a bleach product every 60-120 minutes.

Updated Breakfast Offering. We will continue to adapt to state and local ordinances as New York begins opening back up. During this period breakfast offerings may be limited or unavailable. For the summer season we will be providing a prepackaged “grab-n-go” breakfast to which you can enjoy in our outdoor seating areas or your room so we can ensure social distancing practices. As a Wyndham Hotel we are also partnering with DoorDash so you can order in from some great area restaurants and earn Wyndham Reward points! Just ask us for some of our favorite recommendations.

Flexible Housekeeping. We will be limiting our housekeeping services to only cleaning in between guests, unless otherwise requested. A 0-touch amenity replenish will also be an option. The Front Desk & Housekeeping will be happy to help you with specific needs or requests as well.

Keeping our Staff Safe. Our staff will also be practicing social distancing guidelines, to keep us all safe. But we are still here to help you! We will also be wearing gloves and face shields in accordance with our local ordinances.

Updated Cancellation Policy. Guests traveling with new or existing direct bookings for stays in any of our hotels through June 30, 2020 will have their cancellation or change penalties waived if the request is received at least 24 hours (or less if permitted by the hotel’s policy) prior to arrival.

In addition to the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety we also ask that you help us out by practicing social distancing during your stay, avoid crowds and unnecessary touching as best possible, and wash your hands often. We are safer working together!
